Refund Policy

Atlas Acct LLC is committed to providing high-quality tax preparation and accounting services. This policy
outlines our refund practices to ensure transparency and clear expectations for our clients.
 
I. No Refunds After Tax Filing
 
Once your tax return has been filed with the appropriate tax authority (IRS, state, or local), refunds will not be
issued except under the circumstances outlined below.
 
II. Exceptions to No-Refund Policy
 
Refunds may be issued if any of the following conditions apply:
 
  • Preparation Errors: Our firm made an error in preparing your tax return that resulted in an incorrect
    filing
  • Incorrect Filing: Your return was filed incorrectly or with inaccurate information due to our negligence
    or mistake
  • Service Not Rendered: You paid for services that were not completed or delivered as agreed

 

In these cases, clients must notify Atlas Acct LLC in writing within 30 days of discovering the error. We will review the claim and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include correcting the return (filing an amended return), issuing a refund, or providing additional services at no charge.

III. Pre-Filing Refunds

If you request to cancel services before your tax return is filed, a refund may be issued less any fees for work
already completed and administrative costs incurred.

IV. Amendments and Corrections

If you need to amend or correct a return after filing, this is considered a separate service and standard fees
will apply.

V. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information to Atlas Acct LLC
  • Reviewing all documents before filing
  • Communicating any concerns or changes promptly

 

VI. Claims Process

To file a refund claim or report a potential error:

  • Submit a written request to leximclain@atlas-acct.com
  • Include a detailed description of the issue
  • Provide supporting documentation
  • Allow 10-15 business days for our review
